SYNOPSIS

Danilo Monte: “My brother is a great lover of history, especially of the Second World War. We have been talking for a few years, never in depth. His life? Drugs, communities, jails, movies and books. One day I can no longer resist and I say to him: "For your thirtieth birthday I take you to Auschwitz. It will be a slow journey, by train, to start talking again ... and I will film everything ". On the road we laugh, we scream and we cry, but above all we talk ... and in the end we arrive. Auschwitz thus becomes the destination of a journey back in time, punctuated by old family shots. In the place of anti-humanity we manage to touch our most authentic and profound humanity.
